“Meth-addled” trucker tries to ram police

(WLWT) – A man was taken into custody overnight Thursday after attempting to ram a semi truck into a Cincinnati, Ohio police officer’s cruiser before leading police on a multi-state pursuit.

Police said the incident began when officers attempted to pull over the semi truck. The driver, Tony Henson, refused to stop and then tried to ram the truck into a Cincinnati police officer multiple times.

Henson then fled south, leading police on a chase through Kentucky, where several Kentucky police units joined the pursuit.

The chase continued onto I-275 when officers attempted to use tire deflation devices multiple times along the highway, causing two front tires to deflate and fall off their rims.

Henson eventually stopped and surrendered to police after crossing into Dearborn County, Indiana.

According to officers, Henson was high on meth at the time.
